The new range of JVC projectors continues to offer the best brightness in its category as well as the highest native contrast ratios on the market. It now includes notable improvements, such as a new low-latency mode to reduce display lag and enhance video game gameplay, as well as an automatic detection HDR picture mode. All models are equipped with two high-speed HDMI 18 Gbps inputs, compliant with the HDCP 2.2 standard, to ensure connectivity with the latest UHD 4K sources. These inputs support a maximum resolution of 4096 x 2160, HDR technology, and 4:4:4 color sampling.

The new range of JVC projectors includes the following models:

  • JVC DLA-X9500B – suggested retail price: €8,990
  • JVC DLA-X7500B/W – suggested retail price: €6,490
  • JVC DLA-X5500B/W – suggested retail price: €4,490

Better brightness thanks to a new ultra-powerful lamp

Thanks to the synergy between a 265 W lamp and the D-ILA matrix, the new JVC projectors deliver images with superior brightness compared to previous models.

The brightness and contrast levels of the new projectors are as follows:

  • DLA-X9500B: 2,000 lumens, contrast: 1,600,000:1
  • DLA-X7500B/W: 1,900 lumens, contrast: 1,300,000:1
  • DLA-X5500B/W: 1,800 lumens, contrast: 400,000:1

E-Shift 4 Technology

JVC’s E-Shift 4 technology delivers 4K resolution images (3840 x 2160) with exceptional clarity, using a diagonal half-pixel shift and a frequency of up to 120 Hz to upscale resolution. The 2017 range of JVC projectors further enhances image clarity with this technology, specially optimized for 4K60p content.

THX 3D Certification (DLA-X9500B, DLA-X7500B/W)

THX 3D-certified projectors provide 3D experiences with stunning levels of clarity, detail, and precision, faithful to the results achieved by the director in the studio. Superior 2D image quality is also a mandatory criterion for this certification. During the THX 3D certification process, over 400 laboratory tests are conducted to evaluate color fidelity, crosstalk levels, viewing angles, and video processing systems. This certification is a guarantee of quality and optimal performance for the consumer.

Auto-Calibration Function

All JVC projectors in the 2017 range feature an auto-calibration function that automatically calibrates images and optimizes them based on the environment, using a third-party optical sensor available on the market. This function can also compensate for potential color balance disruptions caused by prolonged projector use, ensuring optimal projection quality.
