The SoundCare Superspike company was born following the purchase of a pair of speakers by designer Terje Borgen. The speakers were delivered with standard rubber spikes and supports. Many compromises are already made when purchasing audio equipment. Terje felt that this compromise was not acceptable: having better performance but a damaged floor, or sacrificing performance for an unmarked surface. For him, there had to be a solution, a spike that would offer the performance without the side effects.
