When you pair a SUB with a Sonos speaker, you unlock an extraordinarily rich listening experience for your music. The SUB takes care of those deep, very low frequencies, allowing your other speakers to focus on the midrange and high frequencies. You won’t just hear the difference, you’ll feel it.

Feel the bass.

Bass is first and foremost about air movement. The more intense the movement, the more bass you hear. The SUB delivers an incredible amount of detail and dynamics in the low end by using a surprisingly powerful pair of speakers to move air. We designed the SUB with an opening in the center to allow even more air to move out of the enclosure.

It’s a family affair.

The SUB works with all Sonos speakers or amplified components. Boost your home theater by pairing it with the PLAYBAR. Make the bass explode on your favorite songs with your PLAY:1, PLAY:3, PLAY:5, or speakers connected to your CONNECT:AMP.

Zero vibration.

The downside of moving so much air to create bass is that most subwoofers start to shake and vibrate. Not the SUB. We arranged the two speakers face-to-face inside the cabinet to cancel out the forces that cause all that vibration. So you get deep, rich bass without any cabinet buzz.

A stunning design.

Most subwoofers are big, black boxes devoid of personality or style. So they often get relegated to a corner, out of sight. Everything about the SUB, including its unique “O” shape, has been designed to maximize sound quality while adding a beautiful design element to your space.
