Pro-Ject has decided to tackle the entry-level market with a high-quality alternative delivered with an Ortofon cartridge. The Elemental turntable is a true plug & play in every respect. No counterweight and anti-skating adjustment is necessary, as both are preset. This new ultra-low mass straight tonearm is optimized for the included Ortofon OM 5E cartridge.

The hidden secret to the turntable’s sonic success is a central gravity mass point, made from an artificial stone and placed directly under the platter bearing. It is able to completely absorb unwanted rumble and motor vibrations. This turntable appears to be pure simplicity itself, while maintaining high-quality audio standards.
