This equipment gives you unlimited access to new digital media, streaming from your PC or directly accessing the Internet. It has all the network features of the Melody Media: one-touch Wi-Fi connection, a new digital input for a TV or a second USB port on the back for added convenience. It also supports ALAC, high-resolution 192 kHz/24-bit WAV, HD FLAC files, and gapless playback.
Additionally, it offers a front USB connection to charge your iDevices, even in standby mode. Just like the Melody Media, you can directly connect a pair of speakers, and the output power is the same: 2×60 W.
However, the Melody Stream is an entirely new product dedicated to new digital media, so it does not allow FM radio broadcasting, CD playback, or DAB streaming. That’s why it’s more compact. Much more compact.
Technology:
PC Audio Streaming
Digital media stored on computers or NAS (network access storage - network hard disk drive) are becoming increasingly popular. But there’s no need to listen to music only “on the go” via your portable media player or while sitting in front of a PC.
vTuner
vTuner connects your Internet-enabled product to the wide world of streaming music and lyrics. vTuner hosts thousands of radio stations and podcasts on a reliable and maintained platform. The amount of content they offer continues to grow.
