The HTM61 S2 now features a decoupled Double Dome tweeter, ideal for delivering all the clarity needed for dialogue. The Double Dome increases rigidity without adding weight for an even more precise response, and decoupling the tweeter from the main cabinet eliminates unwanted resonances and vibrations. The resulting sound is extremely clear.
Using the same manufacturing techniques as the floorstanding speakers in the 600 Series range, the HTM61 S2 also has two 6.5-inch bass drivers with new aluminum cones, for an ideal balance of impact and precision.
Below the decoupled Double Dome tweeter, and between the two 6.5-inch bass drivers, is an FST midrange driver. And at the rear of the speaker: two Flowport vents. Together, they ensure remarkable audio clarity across the entire frequency range, with the symmetrical configuration improving integration and sound dispersion. The end result is a solid center speaker that will excel with action movies.

Impressive center speaker, whether in terms of quality, power or design. The negative point, and this is also a guarantee of quality, is the dimensions - what a beast! A must-buy, but plan for the necessary space for setup.
Pros: perfect integration with 686S2 speakers.
Cons: truly generous dimensions!
