AM, FM, DAB or Network Tuner Cambridge Audio Azur 651T silver

Overview

The 651T has everything you need in a hi-fi tuner. It features DAB+ technology, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of digital radio with much better quality thanks to its support for the latest HE-AAC audio format.

The transition to DAB+ also enables broadcasting many more stations within a frequency band for better selection. The 651T extracts maximum quality from all DAB broadcasts thanks to its intelligent circuit design and use of a renowned digital-to-analog converter, the Wolfson WM8740.

Cambridge Audio’s Natural Contour Technology (NTC) has also been enhanced to counteract the dullness of certain compressed digital sources. And while the convenience of digital radio is undeniable, you can’t escape the quality of FM broadcasts. To listen to them, the 651T has some surprises in store with its new fully separate analog FM/AM tuner section.

The sound quality of FM is truly exceptional, and the separate DAB, FM, and AM antenna connections allow you to use the appropriate antenna for each band. The 651T is equipped with an alarm clock that can turn Cambridge Audio amplifiers on and off using Control Bus inputs/outputs and select the tuner input for the alarm function.
