Onkyo has declared war on distortion. The success of this anti-noise campaign is evident when you turn on the A-9070 integrated stereo amplifier. The new DIDRC (Dynamic Intermodulation Distortion Reduction Circuitry) technology reduces distortion at very high frequencies. Closed-loop circuits, HICC (High Instantaneous Current Capability), and anti-vibration construction combine to produce surprisingly pure sound across a wide dynamic range. The unit’s four 15,000 µF capacitors put immense power at your disposal.

Efficient dual Push-Pull amplification, coupled with a three-stage inverted Darlington circuit, aims to reduce distortion to virtually zero. Separate 192 kHz/24-bit Wolfson digital-to-analog converters for the left/right channels enhance performance. The unit also features 192 kHz/24-bit HD audio playback to handle modern formats. Four discrete amplifier modes (integrated amplifier, power amplifier, and separate pre-amplifier/power amplifier) offer flexibility for integrating other hi-fi components.
