What the press says

The Sony VPL-HW40ES projector inherits the qualities of its predecessor, the HW30ES. In addition to the excellent motion compensation called Motionflow here, this newcomer benefits from more intelligent upscaling with Reality Creation. Added to this are deep blacks and accurate color reproduction. Finally, even if its 3D mode is not perfect, it remains one of the best Full HD projectors at the moment.

Very good product. I can't be truly objective since this is my 1st video projector. Beautiful colors, deep blacks, nice images. Easy to adjust with many settings. It is right above my head, but makes practically no noise. But it's so big! Sony could make an effort by providing not one but two power cords: a short one and a long WHITE one with the white projector...

Pros: deep blacks, beautiful colors, many intuitive settings, quiet.
Cons: huge, mounting not "very" standard, very bright.

Really very happy with the Sony HW40ES and the advice from homecinesolutions!

Pros: very good image quality and easy to set up.
Cons: manual adjustments of the image shift, but once done, you don't touch it anymore.
