Overview

As soon as you lay eyes on the M-CR611, you’ll know it embodies pure refinement. Its high-gloss black finish and gently curved side panels immediately convey an elegance and style that are sure to impress. The center comes in Apple black or white and the front lighting color can be changed to white, blue, green or orange for a personal touch. But the M-CR611 is not just beautiful, it’s also a superb performer that delivers excellence from your audio CDs, FM radio, DAB/DAB+ digital radio, and networked stored files.

Designed for optimal ease of use, the Melody Media features one-touch Wi-Fi access. The new Bluetooth with NFC further enhances connectivity options and iDevices can be plugged in via a front USB port, with an additional rear port for added convenience. Plus, there are two digital inputs for connecting to a TV.

The Melody Media supports Spotify Connect, as well as a range of other digital media and playback features. In addition to listening to millions of tracks on the world’s most popular online music service, it enables playback of music libraries stored on a NAS (network attached storage) or computer and access to thousands of Internet radio stations, and even supports Apple AirPlay. Users can also control it via a Marantz Hi-Fi Remote app for Android and iOS.

A new additional feature is A/B speaker setup, allowing individual volume control for A and B, or global volume control for A and B.

Use the Melody Media to stream music not just in one room, but in two. This is true versatility in an elegant presentation. The M-CR611 also supports ALAC, as well as 192kHz/24-bit high-resolution WAV, FLAC, AIFF files, 2.8MHz DSD files, and gapless playback.

Parfait ! Exactement ce que je voulais.

My wife had enough of the separate components that took up a lot of space (Amp, Tuner, CD player, floor-standing speakers...).
That said, it works quite well. On the "equalizer" side, there is no midrange adjustment, but that's not what keeps me up at night.
Two years after purchase, you have to pay to surf the Net on the radio. Sure, it's very cheap, but it's yet another rip-off and additional hassle.
Result: I no longer use the digital tuner. However, I used to love traveling the airwaves... I tried paying, and it was a headache! I'll try again someday.
I don't regret this purchase though, and I'm being sincere.
I've since moved to a smaller place, so the compactness is not a bad thing.
Very good musicality with my Focal Aria 906 speakers.

Unfortunately very disappointed! The CD player stopped working after 2 years, of course. And this is not a rare occurrence - I've read it in many reviews. So best to avoid this product.
