The ICT 7 is well-made and easy to install. The sound quality is excellent, and for its size, it produces very clear bass.

The ICT7 from Triangle condenses over four decades of French acoustic expertise into an in-ceiling speaker. As a member of the SECRET range, this 246 mm circular speaker combines advanced coaxial technology with meticulous architectural integration, making it suitable for both residential installations and commercial spaces.
The technological core of the ICT7 lies in its coaxial configuration: a 170 mm mid-bass driver works in synergy with a centrally positioned 25 mm silk dome tweeter. This arrangement ensures perfect temporal coherence and even sound dispersion.
The adjustable tweeter allows you to precisely direct high frequencies toward the listening area, which is especially useful for stereo setups or for surround/Atmos effects in home theater. The ultra-thin magnetic grille, which can be painted to match your décor, makes the installation virtually invisible—perfectly embodying Triangle’s “SECRET” philosophy.
With a frequency range of 55 Hz to 20 kHz and a sensitivity of 90 dB/W/m, the ICT7 faithfully reproduces both the subtleties of a string quartet and cinematic dynamics. Its 140-watt power handling reflects a robust design with no compression or distortion.
The nominal impedance of 8 ohms (minimum 6.9 ohms) ensures broad compatibility with amplifiers on the market, simplifying multi-zone installations. Weighing 1.64 kg, it features optimized materials: rigid enough to resist vibrations while remaining compatible with modern suspended ceilings.
The patented mounting system is a major asset. After a 206 mm cutout, four front screws activate a rear clamping mechanism—no rear access or specialized tools required. The shallow mounting depth of just 91.5 mm allows installation in tight technical spaces typical of modern construction. The front-accessible terminal block accepts large-gauge cables, reflecting a user-oriented design.
In the home, the ICT7 excels in stereo for discreetly soundscaping a living room. In home theater, it shines as a Dolby Atmos speaker thanks to its ability to create a coherent sound bubble. Commercial spaces (restaurants, shops) benefit from high-quality sound without visual clutter. The option for 110-volt adaptation opens up possibilities for professional 100V line installations.
The ICT7+ features dual 20 mm tweeters and two separate terminals, allowing you to connect both left and right channels to a single speaker. This unique stereo configuration is ideal for small spaces where installing two separate speakers is not possible. The standard ICT7 remains mono with its single 25 mm tweeter.
The tweeter can be manually rotated once the magnetic grille is removed. Simply point it gently toward the main listening area. This operation requires no tools and can be repeated as often as needed to optimize sound according to changes in your room layout.
Its design indeed makes it an excellent choice for Atmos effects. The wide dispersion, extended frequency response, and adjustable tweeter meet the precise requirements of immersive audio formats. Many home theater integrators highly recommend it for this application.
