Bluetooth aptX

If your device is compatible with the aptX format, the BTR100 is the product for you. AptX allows you to send music of a much higher quality than with a conventional Bluetooth connection. The standard Bluetooth codec (SBC) compresses audio files with significant loss often deplored by audiophiles. AptX offers audio quality relatively close to CD. AAC

The AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) format was designed to achieve better audio quality than MP3. Unlike aptX, it is compatible with Apple devices. Apple uses the AAC format via a Bluetooth connection with a transfer rate of around 250 KB/s, which is relatively close to CD quality.
