Unlike most players in its category, the PD-30 AE is equipped with a true dedicated reading device. The fact that the Silent Drive mechanism is focused on a single task reduces operating noise and improves sound quality.

The CD player’s design ensures accurate data reading: a low-vibration steel sheet chassis with an aluminum face, a well-dimensioned power supply, and a reliable Precision Clock that times the reading device and the A/D converter with an accuracy of ±10 ppm, thus preventing the appearance of jitter, which is detrimental to sound reproduction.

Thanks to its optical and coaxial digital input, the PD-30 AE’s converter can also be used by other devices and, with its own adjustable headphone connection, without having to turn on the connected amplifier. A great example of comfort synergy is the combination of the PD-30 AE and its neighbor for network players, the N-30 AE. The streamer allows you to control the CD player with the Pioneer Remote App by communicating its commands via the remote cable.
