The Tannoy Mercury range has always been able to satisfy the demands of HiFi and Home Cinema enthusiasts at home for over two decades. Year after year, Mercury speakers have consistently received a warm welcome internationally for their excellent audio performance and value for money.
This new Mercury range continues in the same direction and offers, once again, improved performance, better design, and a wider choice of finishes to better match today’s interiors. Tannoy also offers a brand new compact subwoofer. The TS2.8 is a 180W subwoofer, available in the same finishes as the Mercury 7 speakers: black oak, light oak, and walnut.
The Mercury 7.4 benefits from a D’Appolito design (tweeter between 2 woofers), which is usually found on more expensive speakers. This allows for smoother dispersion characteristics in frequencies close to those passing through the crossover. The result is more articulate music, eliminating the ‘sweet spot’ and thus allowing you to enjoy the speakers throughout a room.
As the flagship speaker of the Mercury range, the 7.4 is capable of delivering realistic dynamics and a subtle level of detail for everyday listening. Its wide bandwidth ensures faithful reproduction of your music, even in high-resolution formats.

Excellent speakers, easy to place, they offer a complete spectrum from bass to treble with a beautiful structured midrange. It's lively, musical, balanced. A delight!
