This complex structure reduces cable inductance and resonance, resulting in purer sound reproduction.

True to its reputation for excellence, Cardas has made no compromises in material selection. The Iridium uses four pure copper conductors of 24.5 AWG, ensuring optimal conductivity. The PPFE (expanded fluorinated polypropylene) insulation provides excellent dielectric properties while maintaining cable flexibility. A dual shielding system of PFA and carbon effectively protects the signal from external electromagnetic interference.

Despite its affordable price for a high-end cable, the Iridium is entirely handcrafted in the United States at Cardas’ Oregon workshops. Each cable is meticulously assembled by hand, ensuring consistent quality and optimal control at every stage of production.
