The exclusive Tractrix® horns have always been the essential components of this deservedly successful series. With the RF-82 speaker, this technology has been refined to include an improved throat geometry offering more authentic sound realism. Behind the horn is a 1-inch titanium tweeter with a large ceramic motor offering a unique combination of precision, clarity and effortless power.

The RF-82 speaker features two 8-inch woofers delivering powerful bass. These Cerametallic™ woofers with inverted copper dust caps have a very high stiffness-to-mass ratio and superb damping characteristics.

The rigid cabinet of the RF-82 speaker features enhanced internal bracing to reduce panel vibrations that could distort the sound, and two rear-firing ports that eliminate turbulence noise. The increased acoustic screen ribs on the bottom panel and around the horn mouth significantly improve the acoustics across the entire audible spectrum. To ensure signal purity and seamless integration with the speaker, the RF-82’s passive crossover utilizes the finest components and Klipsch’s custom internal wiring.

Available in a cherry or black ash vinyl finish, the RF-82 speaker features a low-diffraction, magnetically attached grille that accentuates the elegance of this speaker.
