90°x90° Hybrid Tractrix Horn in Molded Silicon for Clearer Sound

The horn loading of the RP-6000F II maximizes efficiency and increases detail while focusing high frequencies towards the listening area. Thanks to the exclusive Tractrix technology, the transfer of high-frequency waves to the listening area is as efficient as possible. The phase plug and compressed molded silicon horn ensure a smooth frequency response, creating a clear and natural sound. This new edition has a larger (edge-to-edge) horn to provide a wider soundstage and better directivity.

Cerametallic Woofers for Optimal Power

Cerametallic woofers are the signature of Reference Premiere speakers. Their exceptional rigidity and lightness allow for minimal distortion and maximum efficiency. The new voice coils have a 70% larger diameter, offering improved power handling and cone control for greater linearity and faithful reproduction. The new aluminum rings reduce distortion and increase power handling. The new motor structure improves low-frequency response with more control, speed, and precision.

Bi-Wiring / Bi-Amping

The dual binding posts allow for bi-wiring or bi-amping. Bi-wiring separates the high and low frequency currents to reduce intermodulation distortion, resulting in improved midrange clarity. Bi-amping allows for customization of external crossovers when using separate amplifiers.
