Krell Vanguard universal DAC

The Krell VANGUARD DAC is a “Stream Player” (network player) combined with a high-performance DAC (digital-to-analog converter). In addition to its advanced network player capabilities, it includes a complete suite of digital inputs and superior control apps. Its high-current, high-output, asymmetric and symmetric line output stage functions as a very high-end KRELL preamplifier, allowing the VANGUARD DAC to directly drive power amplifiers to their full potential with unmatched sonic transparency.

The KRELL VANGUARD DAC enables streaming from a NAS, and features USB, Coaxial, Optical, HDMI (2), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth aptX, and Vtuner inputs. It supports DSD files.

The VANGUARD DAC can play FLAC, ALAC, WAV, MP3 or WMA files up to 192kHz/24-bit as well as Internet radio. Gapless playback is recognized to seamlessly reproduce long recordings, such as live concerts, without interruption. Advanced KRELL iOS and Android apps allow you to control it from the comfort of your smartphone or tablet.
