The Surround Be speakers are ideal for complementing a 5.1 Home Cinema system or a multichannel system: 6.1, 7.1, etc. They have been designed to reproduce surround effects and strong or violent signals, such as explosions or shocks, as faithfully as possible. Discreet and easy to install on the wall, they allow you to reproduce the complexity of movie soundtracks without cluttering the back of your living room.
The Surround Be speakers feature a “Bi/Twin” construction with a double input on the terminal block that allows the speaker to be used interchangeably in 5.1 (Bipolar mode) or 7.1 (double mono mode). This exclusive Focal feature means you don’t have to multiply the number of surround speakers in your Home Cinema room.
The Surround Be speakers are equipped with the same technologies as the speakers in the Sopra, Utopia III and Electra 1000 Be 2 lines: “W” cones and pure Beryllium inverted dome tweeter. They thus display consistent performance in terms of sound dispersion, efficiency and scale. The sound stage of your home cinema system is thus perfectly coherent: a sound moving from one side of the image to the other is reproduced without any variation in timbre.
12 Kg on the scale commands respect! One of the best surrounds I've ever heard! Spatialization, definition, breadth. Total immersion and I only use it in bipolar mode. They crown a 5.1 Electra set. Perfect cohesion. The finish is magnificent and presented in a fabric pouch like a jewel with a card (like a credit card) numbered and signed by the quality inspector. Thank you Focal. The price is high but you have a real sonic 'bomb' at your disposal.
