Very good headphones, beautiful construction, fits well on the head, super powerful and detailed sound rendering.

Each year, dozens of European journalists gather to select the best electronic products of the year. Awarded by a diverse and impartial jury, the EISA (Expert Imaging and Sound Association) awards recognize exceptional products for their performance, design, or ergonomics.
The new HD 660 S allows you to enjoy sophisticated audiophile sound in a wider range of listening conditions. The successor to the legendary HD 650 excels with the improved performance of its new transducer design. Thanks to its low impedance, it delivers class-leading sound even when connected to high-resolution mobile players, providing much greater versatility. The HD 660 S is a high-quality feat of engineering with an elegant design that satisfies the discerning listener with its sonic precision and outstanding wearing comfort.
After nearly 14 years of excellent and loyal service, the HD 650 will finally be replaced in Sennheiser's catalog. Called the HD 660 S, the new model features new speakers designed to deliver a more neutral, more natural sound experience.

Sits alongside two excellent headphones, the famous HD650 and HD600. Compared to these two, the "newcomer" brings nothing and degrades everything. Gone are the voluptuous listening experiences characteristic of this series; this headphone constantly assaults the ears with its poor balance. The increased resolution promised by the manufacturer is inaudible; on the contrary, the HD650 and HD600 seem even more resolving in retrospect than previously thought.

Good product but depends on the amp it is connected to.
Very relaxing, very smooth listening experience but can sometimes lack detail.
I prefer my Focal Elegia but it's more expensive...
