The BX1 is a power amplifier that you can pair with our AX1, DX1 or PX1.
This 2x105W amplifier into 8 Ω will be able to drive, thanks to its versatility, neutrality and dynamics, the majority of speakers on the market. You will appreciate its aesthetics and ergonomics thanks to its transparent methacrylate front panel with a white or black background that is only matched by the overall design and layout of the various sub-assemblies in the cabinet.
Our BX1 has cinch (unbalanced) or XLR (balanced) connectors that can be switched using a small switch. The BX1 incorporates the High Bias function, which allows the amplifier to deliver the first watts in a mode comparable to class A. Beyond that, the amplifier will operate in class AB. The internal structure is based on compartments, ensuring mechanical rigidity and shielding of the various components, starting with the 480VA toroidal transformer. The current thus rectified passes through four 6800uF capacitors under 63V.
The power stages are provided by a whole battery of Toshiba transistors renowned for their audio quality. The listening experience is neutral and transparent, characterized by excellent power handling. The bass is structured and held without heaviness, the midrange shows a concern for detail that is particularly endearing with a detailed reproduction of voices and complex timbres. The highs are not left out with an absence of aggressiveness and great finesse.

After switching to a home theater setup a few years ago, I had almost stopped listening to music. Now, with the BX1 coupled with the brand's PX1 preamp, I'm rediscovering the listening pleasure I had lost. Even though it's "only stereo," it's incomparable. And my Jm-Lab Cobalt 815 speakers are getting a second lease on life. I'm still waiting for a pair of XLR cables to perfect the quality, but I'm already fully satisfied. There's surely better and more powerful (and more expensive) out there, but for my use, this is more than enough. Home theater forgotten, I really prefer stereo.

Excellent product: very elegant, with a clear and airy sound featuring highs that are pleasing to the ear.
It forms a great pair with my AX1 from the same brand, with the same front panel.
