Both by its musical performance and its sober and luxurious presentation, the X-A220 amplifier immediately commands respect.
A monaural amplifier represents the ideal solution to improve the overall performance of a Hi-Fi system. Indeed, this principle prohibits any interaction of the power supply circuits as well as the amplifier stages between the left channel and the right channel.
The high-power supply associated with the triple output stage equipped with the famous “very high current” transistors (NJW0281G - NJW0302G) of the MAA 1000, which allows the X-A220 amplifier to deliver a power of 220 W RMS on 8 Ohms. Combined with its “Hi Bias” operating mode, the X-A220 amplifier will easily power all the loudspeakers on the market.
The X-A220 delivers a power of 220 W per channel in class AB, a switch located at the rear of the unit allows the X-A220 to deliver the first Watts in class A. Beyond this power, the switching to class AB is done automatically.
