GigaWatt LC-1 EVO 1M

The GigaWatt LC-1 EVO is the latest basic power cord designed for high-fidelity audio-video systems. This cable is also standard equipment for our conditioners and power strips.

The cable wires consist of five solid core conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm2, made of 99.997% pure copper (OFHC C10100), which are also subjected to an annealing process that allows them to gain a uniform structure and better conductance. The wires are arranged in a weave with a new geometry. This ensures a constant and unimpeded current flow and prevents any interference from appearing at the output. On the other hand, its comparatively high intrinsic capacity, due to the cable geometry and the characteristics of the dielectric, guarantees great filtering and damping capabilities for a wide range of interferences.

The insulation of the conductors was made in a new flexible material, PK90AT28, with a very low dielectric constant. The outer sheath is made of a flexible insulating material GA 70AT03, which suppresses unwanted vibrations. An additional protection of the cable is a wear-resistant light gray plastic braid.

The cable wires are protected by an antistatic shield made of laminated aluminum foil with an internal copper wire. The leakproof construction of the shield covers 100% of the cable surface, which perfectly protects against all external interference. In addition, the shielding prevents the appearance and propagation of internal interference, as well as the return of stray currents on the ground wire.

The cable is equipped with high-quality plugs with a high connection surface, which allows a constant current flow from the power grid. The contacts of both plugs have been demagnetized. All conductors are connected without soldering, and the connections to the connectors are bolted, which ensures great reliability and optimal functionality.
