The ISOL-8 SubStation AXIS is a four-outlet power conditioner designed to block high-intensity direct current (DC) from the mains power signal. Design and Technology

At the heart of the SubStation AXIS is the ISOL-8 AXIS circuit, a high-capacity version of ISOL-8’s renowned circuit that eliminates any DC component present on the incoming mains power. This technology is essential because a mains power signal altered by a DC component can partially saturate the transformer in the power supply of the connected device, resulting in acoustic humming and reduced performance.

The SubStation AXIS is capable of handling a 16A DC current through the unit, making it suitable for both power-hungry components such as mono blocks and subwoofers, as well as source components and other connections.
