A hand-selected thin-film diaphragm as well as solid stainless steel fixed electrodes were used for the SR-L500. A response rich in deep bass, delicate high frequencies and soothing mids was obtained in a balanced manner. The SR-L500’s Arc Assembly (ARC) is equipped with a 10-click sliding mechanism for adjusting the height of the headband pad adopted from the SR-009 and SR-507. Once adjusted, the slider always maintains its optimal position to make readjustment unnecessary. This allows you to enjoy hours of pleasant music listening with optimal comfort.
High performance pure copper developed by Hitachi uses the conductor wires. HiFC has various advantages, including sound characteristics similar to those used in 99.99999% high purity copper wires SR-009 and SR-L500 6N. The entire cable is then arranged in a flat, wide configuration to lower the capacity between each wire and is finished with the most appropriate structure to drive the earpiece.
The new earpad design is carefully handcrafted with high quality synthetic leather for optimal comfort during hours of musical enjoyment as well as sound performance.
