Wyrestorm’s HAOC hybrid cables are HDMI optical cables, 4K UHD compatible with HDR, and offer uncompressed full-bandwidth 18 Gbps HDMI content. WyreStorm’s HAOC hybrid cables use the latest optical transmission technology to accept the highest bandwidth currently possible, in compliance with the HDMI 2.0 specification and without compression. With HAOC cables, 5.1 Dolby or DTS sound can be sent from the screen to an AVR located up to 10m away.

HDCP 2.2 Compatible

Being essentially a long HDMI cable, source devices see this cable as such, which means complicated electronics for managing “encryption” are not necessary, making HAOC cables an inexpensive extension solution.

High Resistance to EM or RF Interference

Using optical transmission over 4 fiber cores, HAOC cables provide a much stronger and more reliable signal compared to copper transmission. They are also more resistant to radio and electromagnetic interference.
