The HTA-2500B double mono 2x200W amplifier uses 2 high-performance 12AX7-TPSVANE Treasure Mark II vacuum tubes in the preamp section serving as a buffer amplifier and 6 pairs of high-power Sanken transistors (2SC4468/2SA1695) in the output stage. The HTA-2500B combines the best of both worlds - the soft, analog sound provided by the tubes with the high dynamics and power of the transistors. Two toroidal transformers with a total power of 1200W (600W per channel) provide large amounts of clean energy, high voltage stability and very low ripple current. This results in higher dynamics, purer energy and a greater ability to properly drive very demanding and powerful speakers.
Audiophile-grade ELNA capacitors (2x80V/10000uF for each channel) ensure stable playback, enhancing the tonality of the music and the depth of the sound field. The audiophile-grade Japanese ALPS volume potentiometer provides minimal noise and crosstalk between channels, offers excellent operating feel and limits errors between the two channels.
The oversized aluminum heat sink system (independent heat sink for each channel) helps dissipate internal heat and allows for long-term high-power playback with limited distortion. The gold-plated premium speaker terminals offer near-lossless transmission of the audio signal to the speakers. The analog inputs with premium machined solid brass RCA jacks can accommodate up to 2 stereo devices.
