Like all cables, Reference High Resolution USB is based on the results of exhaustive research into cable design that began in 1995 and was recently detailed in the updated Genesis report. This report outlines the design principles that QED adheres to, which have resulted in the development of a range of cables that represent the ultimate expression of sound through uncompromising science. Each QED cable in its range is based on the flagship model, and although they may be influenced in various ways by price, size or ease of use, each retains the original core characteristics of this model.
