Reloop RP 8000 MK2

Developed in close collaboration with renowned artists, the RP 8000 MK2, more robust and stylish than the previous RP 8000 version, is now the most advanced turntable of all time! It is programmed for unlimited use with the new Reloop Elite console, which comes with SERATO DJ PRO software. It is also compatible with all other DVS / MIDI software.

It features an LCD screen for instant and precise visualization of BPM, pitch range, remaining track time, deck assignment, and firmware information. Mixing in dark environments won’t be an issue with the cutting-edge removable LED RCA target illumination and its new aluminum monocoque spectrum LED lamp for optimal strobe control.

Your computer only has one USB port? No worries! The intelligent USB connection is particularly sophisticated and can pair up to 4 turntables by connecting them simultaneously to each other so that only one is linked to the PC. In DVS operation, the 8 large pads with RGB lighting can control 7 different performance modes (CUE, Sampler, Saved Loops, Pitch Play, Loop, Loop Roll, Slicer), as well as 2 user modes that can be customized with individual functions.

Its PLATTER Play allows users to control the pitch of tracks via its performance pads, opening up new possibilities. A total of 22 scales and 34 notes are at your disposal, with an option to create up to 9 user-defined scales, making it a unique musical instrument that can be used in DJ, scratch, live, and music production environments. Using the top panel, the multi-encoder allows you to browse tracks directly from the turntable and load them instantly onto the corresponding deck. For more creativity, you can take advantage of the Reverse function and invert the playback direction. If you have vinyl records of different formats, you can also naturally switch between the 3 motor speeds (33/45 and 78 RPM).

The RP 8000 MK2 is equipped with a statically balanced S-shaped tonearm with hydraulic lift and anti-skating mechanism. The new tonearm base offers improved stability and adjustable height/orientation tracking angle. The low-resonance tonearm comes with a universal headshell. It features a high-resolution pitch, allowing you to adjust the platter speed within the classic turntable pitch range of +/- 8%. The RP 8000 MK2 is also associated with a wider +/- 16% pitch range suitable for DJs, as well as an ultra-pitch of +/- 50%, enabling greater creativity when manipulating and mixing records. If quartz lock is activated, the platter speed will not be affected by the slider position and will rotate at zero (0%).

The precisely adjustable quartz motor with digital pitch correction operates at a starting torque of 2.8 kg/cm, which can be adjusted up to a maximum of 4.5 kg/cm, making the RP 8000 MK2 an extremely smooth turntable. Furthermore, the start/stop of tracks can be set between 0.2 and 6 seconds, while the die-cast and precision-machined aluminum platter is lined with rubber to reduce unwanted vibrations and resonances.

Built with an alloy of metal, rubber and synthetic materials, the RP 8000 MK2’s chassis is more reinforced and heavier. This results in a turntable that is extremely resistant to vibrations caused by bass. Its damping feet help to further improve this isolation. The surface is covered with a high quality, scratch-resistant dark black metallic finish.

Thanks to the recessed rear panel, the RP 8000 MK2 can easily be mounted in a flight case. The turntable can be connected to 2 mixers simultaneously, which also allows for easy switching from DVS to vinyl mode. Although equipped with a phono line preamp, an optional ground connection offers additional protection in club environments. All cable connections (RCA/power) are detachable and easy to swap, which also facilitates transport and storage.
