The analog power circuit of the DCD-A110 features a fully separate, audio-optimized design with Denon’s original large-capacity block capacitor (3300 µF), used to power the analog audio circuit after the D/A converter. The DCD-A110 is equipped with custom parts, such as a high-power bipolar junction transistor, a fully separate voltage regulator circuit, high sound quality electrolytic capacitors, and polyphenylene sulfide capacitors. These custom-designed parts were developed in partnership with manufacturers through a comprehensive set of repeated listening tests. These parts provide a clean and stable power supply, which generates a wonderfully balanced sound, with solid foundations and delicate details.
The circuits of the DCD-A110 have been designed to scrupulously respect the “simple & direct” design philosophy. The circuit diagrams have been revised from the ground up to make the signal paths as short as possible and ensure that the original sound is faithfully reproduced across the audio spectrum. Thus, interference between circuits and between the left and right channels, as well as adverse effects on audio signals, are minimized, resulting in a clean and highly transparent sound.
The integrity of musical signals deteriorates when subjected to internal vibrations related to disc rotation or the power transformer, or to external vibrations due to the sound pressure from the speakers. To combat such influences, Denon engineers have designed a vibration-resistant structure called “Direct Mechanical Ground” construction.

Before, I had a much more expensive Marantz Sa 10 with the same mechanics, it's the same group. Huge difference in dynamics, material, density. Thanks to Denon for the exceptional value for money...

With exceptional build quality, the player is beautiful and understated.
And when listening, after a few hours of break-in, the precision, soundstage width and depth are fabulous. It's truly a step above my old Roksan, which had given me satisfaction for years.
