The cinema experience at home! I'm not an expert in this field either, but in my eyes, the image quality is EXCEPTIONAL!
In a dark environment, you can use the lamp in "eco" mode without noticing any difference. In fact, it's even more accurate in terms of rendering, and it will of course optimize the lamp's lifespan. I highly recommend it, especially at this price!

The VPL-VW290ES is an excellent product that requires no maintenance apart from replacing the lamp (LMP-H220).
Advantages: reasonable price since the release of the VPL-XW5000, native 4K with SXRD technology, perfectly calibrated image, exceptional contrast ratio that allows for a more realistic image with more depth, quiet operation, exceptional 3D image, intuitive remote control, motorized lens shift and zoom.
Disadvantages: the 1500 lumens are insufficient for use in broad daylight, but thanks to its high contrast ratio and use in a darkened room, it is fantastic. The VPL-VW290ES is very imposing, and I also advise you to connect it to an uninterruptible power supply to anticipate power outages and protect the lamp.
If you are a movie buff, do not hesitate to invest in the VPL-VW290ES, which is exceptional!
