Excellent CD player! First surprise upon unboxing: the player has a sleek, robust design, and the startup and loading of CDs are relatively quick.
Second surprise: the sound quality. The ROTEL CD14 MK2 is an excellent source that delivers a real improvement in terms of detail. The midrange seems much more detailed compared to my previous player from a slightly lower tier. The bass frequencies are outstanding.
