Works wonders for both picture and sound – if you know where to place it!
Many people only mention the picture improvement when talking about the Furutech NCF Clear Line EU. While the picture definitely gets visibly better, this little device also does wonders for the sound when positioned with the right logic.
1.I took two of these to my 72-year-old mother's house to test. I plugged one right behind her large living room TV. At first, she naturally said she didn't notice any difference, but I told her to let it settle in for a bit. The next morning, her verdict was absolute: that device is never being unplugged from that socket! The TV picture became noticeably cleaner, colors more vibrant, and the on-screen text became extremely sharp and readable. My mother, who normally watches her spending very closely, was ready to pay for it on the spot without hesitation. This real-life test speaks for itself.
2. Sound (the secret is in the placement):
If you just plug a single Furutech NCF Clear Line EU into some random wall outlet, the change in sound can be hard to catch. I have several of these in my system, and the true "wow" effect in audio only happened when I placed one Furutech NCF Clear Line EU in my power block directly next to my streamer (digital source) in the same zone.
What happened to the low frequencies was unbelievable. I have never heard my speakers play such deep bass – you could physically feel the vibration and pluck of the thickest bass guitar string in the air and in your body. The bass is now incredibly fluid and focused, and vocal details have also improved. Since digital devices generate a lot of mains noise themselves, placing the Furutech NCF Clear Line EU right next to them sucks up that dirty noise right at the source.
My recommendation: Don't stop at just one, and don't place them randomly. Use at least two – one in the wall outlet to clean the incoming line, and another in your power block directly n
