Vogel’s TVS 3695, oak and black steel TV floor stand
Installing a large TV away from a wall, in the middle of an open-plan living room or in a home where drilling is not an option requires a stand that supports itself and still looks good when the screen is off. This Vogel’s floor stand combines a black steel frame with oak cladding, accommodates screens from 40 to 77 inches weighing up to 50 kg, is height-adjustable and swivels with a gentle push of the hand.
A steel frame clad in oak
The TVS 3695 has a black steel frame, ensuring rigidity beneath a large screen, while oak cladding softens the column’s appearance in a living space. This wood is PEFC-certified, a label that guarantees it comes from sustainably managed forests. The stand measures 110 cm high, with a base 84.2 cm wide and 55.4 cm deep: a footprint wide enough to keep a 77-inch screen stable, which needs to be factored into the room layout.
The stand is TÜV-certified. This independent German testing body checks the product’s strength and stability under load, an important consideration in a home with children or pets, since a screen on a floor stand remains more exposed to knocks than a wall-mounted screen.
Manually adjustable height and orientation
The screen height can be adjusted over a range of around twenty centimetres, even after the TV has been installed. This allows you to position the centre of the picture at eye level when seated on the sofa, or raise it if the stand is behind a coffee table or console table.
The screen swivels through up to 90°, with 45° to the left and 45° to the right, around a single pivot point on the column. The OneFinger Movement mechanism from Vogel’s makes this movement smooth enough to turn the screen with just one finger: angle the picture towards the dining table during a meal, then turn it back towards the sofa for the evening. The rotation is horizontal, covering most needs in a living room where seating is arranged around the screen.
VESA compatibility and choosing a TV
The mount follows the VESA standard, which defines the spacing between the threaded holes on the back of TVs. The TVS 3695 supports all mounting patterns from 100 x 100 mm to 600 x 400 mm, covering the vast majority of 40- to 77-inch flat-screen TVs on the market. The mounting interface measures up to 66 cm wide by 43 cm high, and the maximum load is 50 kg: enough to accommodate a 77-inch OLED or LCD TV, provided you check the TV’s weight without its original stand, a more useful indicator than screen size.
The supplied mounting kit includes the screws and hardware needed for the various mounting patterns. Protective pads fit between the mounting interface and the back of the screen to prevent scratches and clamping marks during installation and use.
Cables that follow the column
The back of the stand incorporates cable routing: power, HDMI and aerial cables run down the column to the floor, held in place by clips. This is an important detail for a stand often placed in the middle of a room, where the back of the TV is visible from several positions. You will still need to allow enough cable length for the screen to swivel without pulling on the connectors.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I find my TV's VESA mounting pattern and weight?
Both pieces of information can be found in the TV’s manual or technical data sheet, often in the dimensions section. The VESA mounting hole spacing is expressed in millimetres (for example 300 x 300 or 400 x 300), and the weight of the screen without its stand should be used for comparison with the 50 kg supported by the TVS 3695. If this information is unavailable, simply measure the distance between the four threaded holes on the back of the screen.
Can a soundbar be mounted on this stand?
Yes, with the Vogel’s SOUND 3550 soundbar mount, sold separately. The soundbar sits below the screen and swivels with it, keeping the sound directed toward viewers regardless of the chosen orientation.
Is the TVS 3695 available in another finish?
The stand is also available with a white steel frame, again paired with oak (reference TVS 3695 W). This version has the same dimensions, load capacity and adjustments as the black version.
What tools are needed for assembly?
An 8 mm Allen key is supplied with the stand, along with a quick installation guide. For a large screen, it is best to have two people lift the TV and hook it onto the mounting interface, then make the final height adjustments once the screen is in place.
What should I do with the TV's original stand?
It is removed before installation, as the TV is held solely by its VESA mount. It is worth keeping it along with its screws: it will come in handy if you move, rearrange your space or resell the screen.
Is the stand suitable for a bedroom or an office?
Yes, as long as there is enough floor space for the 84.2 x 55.4 cm base. The height adjustment helps adapt the screen position to a bed, which is higher than a sofa, or to a gaming setup facing an armchair.
