IsoTek EVO3 Sequel 2m

The EVO3 Sequel power cable offers enhanced performance compared to IsoTek’s first award-winning cable, with optimized geometry of the conductor strands and active shielding. The conductors are in a parallel construction with a slight rotational twist. This established technique remains the first line of defense against RFI and EMI rejection.

Conductors: The 99.9999% OFC silver-plated conductors provide an exceptional level of purity with improved conductivity. They are less likely to fracture or degrade over time. Silver is an excellent conductor and when combined with high purity copper, it offers impressive electrical properties.

Dielectric: The FEP Teflon dielectric (insulation) is chemically inert and has a very low dielectric constant over a wide frequency range. FEP has a very high degree of resistance to stress cracking and a low coefficient of friction, making it an exceptional dielectric. FEP is the first choice for safety in terms of temperature and electrical insulation.

Filler: Cotton padding has been used to give the cable internal strength and reduce microphony. Cotton also has excellent dielectric properties, the best of any solid material.

Wrap: A mylar wrap is used to secure the construction and provide a protective barrier before applying a flexible PVC sheath. The addition of mylar and cotton forms a buffer with the PVC to retain exceptional dielectric properties.

Shielding: A grounded OFC shield ensures maximum RFI rejection, thus preventing common mode noise from affecting the live and neutral conductors.

Sheath: PVC is used as the outer sheath to provide a high degree of flexibility and mechanical strength.
