The SONATA V4 Transport player is an uncompromising, professional-quality device that can read a large number of standard and high-definition audio formats. It is equipped with an RG-45 input that can be implemented in Wifi with an RG45 - Wifi converter. It is equipped with AES, S/Pdif, TOS-LINK, and I2S (HDMI connector) outputs allowing native 32-768 kHz PCM or native 22.4 MHz DSD output.
This 32bit-768 kHz & DSD 8X TRANSPORT is ultra-complete, with a USB key player, USB port for external hard drive, and is compatible with AUDIRVANA, JRIVER, QOBUZ, TIDAL, SPOTIFY, ROON, HQPLAYER, SQUEEZEBOX, AIRPLAY, BLUETOOTH, etc.
Dual Power
In order to obtain the lowest possible noise and avoid having 230 volts in the main case, the power supply is split into two parts. A first box lowers the voltage to 9 volts. A second very high performance power supply is in the main box. The overall noise is therefore massively reduced.
This approach has two advantages. The 220 volts is not in the main box. There is therefore no power radiation that could pollute the sensitive circuits. On the other hand, the absence of a transformer in the main box avoids any vibrations transmitted to the clocks, which is a notable benefit.
ULNP: Ultra Low Noise Power Supply
The power supply of the players uses very high performance circuits to achieve noise levels never before achieved in the audio world. The power supply noise is 1µVRMS, and 0.8µVRMS on Signature models.
