Thanks to an intelligent tonearm design, Pro-ject has been able to combine pure sound quality with easy setup. The Plug & Play design with preset tracking force and anti-skating for the included Ortofon OM cartridge saved costs and is extremely efficient in handling.

No compromises on sound: On the contrary, the lightweight, low-friction aluminum tonearm is optimized for the Ortofon cartridge and will bring out its maximum potential. In addition, the vibration-absorbing feet isolate the turntable from the surface it is placed on to provide the best possible sound. Thanks to intelligent construction and no unnecessary features, we have been able to maintain an attractive price, despite the fact that this product is handmade in Europe. The Primary E Phono is equipped with a switchable phono/line output, so it can operate with a dedicated external phono preamp or with the built-in phono preamp connected to a line input (e.g. AUX, CD, Tuner, Tape, etc.).
