A column adjustable from 63 to 110 cm

The column adjusts between 633 and 1,108 mm, a wide range that covers most listening situations. When sitting on a sofa, adjust the stand to bring the tweeter (the small driver responsible for treble) roughly to ear height: this is the position where voices are clearest and the stereo image is most stable between the two speakers. In a kitchen or a space where you mostly listen while standing, raise the column towards its maximum height. As rear channels in a home cinema system, a speaker placed slightly above the heads of seated viewers delivers ambience without drawing attention to itself.

Thick steel and a wide base for a speaker that stays put

The stand is made from heavy-gauge steel and rests on a square base measuring 294 mm on each side, with a total weight of 4 kg. This mass concentrated at the bottom lowers the centre of gravity of the assembly and limits wobbling when you brush against the stand as you walk past. A securely mounted speaker vibrates less on its support, producing cleaner bass than a hollow piece of furniture that resonates with the music. Mounting accessories specific to the PULSE M and PULSE FLEX are included, so the speaker is secured to the top plate rather than simply resting on it.

The PULSE M and PULSE FLEX are active speakers that always need a mains cable. The integrated cable management channel guides this cable along the column, rather than leaving it dangling between the speaker and the socket. The trade-off with the stand is its footprint: you need to allow around thirty centimetres on each side, which is easy to find in a corner or behind a sofa.

Stereo, multiroom or rear channels for a home cinema

A single stand is enough to install a PULSE M or PULSE FLEX in a room within the BluOS multiroom system, where no furniture is in the right place. With two stands, you can set up a stereo pair positioned at equal distances from the listening position, something shelves rarely allow. The most common use remains rear channels paired with a Bluesound soundbar: behind or beside the sofa, there is often neither suitable furniture nor a usable wall, and the stand solves the problem without drilling holes for a wall mount. The stand only fits these two speakers in the PULSE range, as its mounts are specific to their format.
