I am delighted with this amplifier. Following Nicolas's advice, I chose this one rather than the Elex. I have a warm sound, but enough detail to satisfy my "HiFi" craving. The phono input has allowed me to fully enjoy my vinyl records; I set off on a journey of rediscovery after several years with a rather digital system.
The digital inputs are very good, but are not on the level of the Audiolab D9 DAC, which I use for my streaming listening; on the other hand, the optical input works perfectly with the TV.
I went from 4 boxes (mono blocks + power supplies) to this integrated amp and I am very happy with the simplification of the chain.
