Audio Technica VM610MONO

The Audio-Technica VM610MONO dual moving magnet cartridge is specially designed for playing Mono Vinyl LP records. It is equipped with a bonded conical stylus that is less likely to be affected by placement, ensuring stable tracking performance.

Patented Dual Magnet Design

Rather than using a single large magnet, Audio Technica arranges the two magnets in a “V” configuration. These two magnets are carefully positioned to align with the left and right channels of the stereo groove walls. As a result, the VM design ensures remarkable channel separation, extended frequency response, and optimal tracking.

Mono Body

For monaural operation, the left and right channels must be connected. A mono body in which the left and right terminals are internally connected reduces recording noise that is mainly in the vertical direction and obtains a highly focused “central” sound image compared to stereo bodies.
