With an exclusive larger edge-to-edge Tractrix horn, coverage, bandwidth and directivity control are significantly improved. The new reference speakers provide precise control over where you want the sound to go in the room, for an optimal listening experience.
Aluminum Tweeter with Kapton Suspension and Linear Travel Suspension (LTS)
The aluminum tweeter with Kapton suspension and Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) is an essential component of our speaker. The LTS suspension minimizes distortion for improved, detailed performance. Aluminum is a lightweight, rigid material used to deliver high efficiency and enhance resolution and detail. LTS tweeters are a hallmark of Klipsch speakers, a differentiating component that makes us successful.
The new Spun-Copper Thermoformed Crystal Polymer woofers minimize resonance for more lifelike sound. This technology is an improvement over the previous generation of Reference Premiere speakers, thanks to a steeper cone angle for smoother response to higher frequencies and improved crossover integration for enhanced accuracy and transparency. The listening experience is thus enhanced to immerse you in the world of your favorite movie or recording studio.
Rear Tractrix Port
The rear Tractrix port is custom designed to perfectly match the cabinet and woofers. It generates optimal airflow with minimal distortion and reduced turbulence, even at the deepest low frequencies.
Refined Atmos Connections
The speakers feature simple, discreet connections on the back, making the transition to Dolby Atmos much easier. These streamlined, elegant connections reduce the amount of visible cables and keep them in place for more efficient management of your setup.
New Elegant Design
The design of this new range has been engineered to integrate seamlessly into any decor. The fasteners are hidden for a cleaner look, the edge-to-edge horn adds majesty to the speaker, and the magnetic grilles dress the whole with elegance. The MDF cabinet has been reinforced and redesigned to reduce vibration and coloration, offering better acoustic precision.

I cannot comment on the sound quality because I am still waiting for my amplifier to be returned from repair. However, in terms of design, they are simply beautiful with excellent craftsmanship. I cannot give 5 stars though, and for good reason.
