The Roksan Attessa CD transport is designed to minimize the length of the laser signal path, thereby reducing jitter and preserving the extracted signals. This signal preservation is also embodied by the elimination of a conversion system, allowing the Roksan Attessa CD to transport digital data to the DAC of the associated amp. This solution avoids a redundant conversion stage and gives the Roksan Attessa CD the advantage of not requiring the electronic circuits necessary for digital-to-analog conversion that introduce noise and jitter.
The Roksan Attessa CD transport is optimized to be the ideal partner for the Roksan Attessa Amp and Roksan Attessa Stream Amp amplifiers. When paired with the Attessa BluOS streaming amp, it also plays MQA-encoded CDs. Thanks to its 16-bit/44.1 kHz compatible coaxial output, it can be paired with any external DAC or ideally with an amp from the Roksan Attessa range. MaestroUnite communication between the CD transport and the Attessa amplifier allows the two products to combine into a single system after setup, a technology and custom application developed for Roksan.
When listening, the choice of only the audio-digital signal transport mastered by Roksan Attessa CD gives the music a very airy clarity and transparency. The sound stage is palpable in a stable, even unshakable stereophonic image. The dynamics are very wide, as is its level of detail, thanks to the jitter and noise reduction advantages conferred by the design of the Roksan Attessa CD, for a superior musical experience.
The Roksan Attessa CD transport is designed with an anodized or natural aluminum chassis, offering absolute sobriety. The front panel is equipped with a loading tray surrounded by 4 basic function keys and a perfectly readable orange OLED display. On the front, the classic and typical buttons of a CD player are glare-free and offer an intuitive user experience.
On the rear panel, the connectivity is simplified to just what is necessary with a power input and a coaxial S/PDIF RCA output. In the absence of an RCA line output, confirmation that the Roksan Attessa CD is a transport (drive) is obvious.

Very solid built, very good price-quality ratio. Little bit sensitive while reading a new cd, even it's factory made (not recognised). After reload it went well. This glitch is well known.
