Slot-loading CD player mechanism supporting fast loading and auto-play

The PD-301DAB-X is equipped with a compact, high-precision, slot-loading CD drive designed exclusively for professional audio applications. With its fast loading times and auto-play function, users can continue enjoying their music moments after inserting a CD into the slot.

Supports MP3, WMA, AAC, and WAV formats

Standard digital audio formats such as MP3 and WMA can be played from CD-ROM/CD-R/CD-RW discs. Additionally, music files in AAC and WAV formats are also supported when played from a USB flash drive inserted into the front USB port. On the convenience side, the player can display ID3 tag information, song titles, and artist names contained in MP3, WMA, and AAC files on its LCD screen.

High-performance 32-bit DAC

The PD-301DAB-X employs a high-performance DAC (digital-to-analog converter), the BurrBrown PCM5142, for clear and smooth audio reproduction.

Robust, all-metal body with a small footprint

The use of aluminum panels for the front, sides, and top of the player gives the PD-301DAB-X unusual rigidity, reducing the detrimental effects of unwanted vibrations on sound quality. And all this in a very small footprint enclosure, occupying a surface area of only 215 mm x 232 mm (8.5” x 9.1”), allowing users to easily place the unit on even the smallest desktop computers.

Built-in DAB+/FM tuner

Unlike most other CD players, the PD-301DAB-X also features a DAB+/FM tuner module within its compact enclosure.

Digital audio outputs for all sources, including DAB+/FM

In addition to the standard analog audio outputs, the audio signals from the PD-301DAB-X’s built-in DAB+/FM tuner also exit at the digital audio outputs, via the coaxial and optical connectors (these connections of course also provide digital audio from a CD).
