The JBL L42ms speaker is a wireless speaker inspired by the famous JBL Classic series. This model features an elegant walnut veneer finish for its cabinet and a black Quadrex foam grille, giving it an undeniable retro charm. Design and construction

The L42ms has an elegant and compact form factor, measuring 162 mm x 617 mm x 234 mm and weighing 11.9 kg. It features an elegant curved grille, tapered side edges, and is available in JBL’s genuine wood veneer finishes of black walnut or natural walnut, ensuring it seamlessly integrates into any living space.

Sound quality and performance

At the heart of the L42ms is a powerful 200W RMS total system power, driven by a Class D amplifier. This system is equipped with two 100 mm Pure Pulp white cone woofers and two 20 mm aluminum dome tweeters with waveguides, configured for stereo reproduction. The frequency response ranges from 55 Hz to 25 kHz (-6 dB), with a crossover frequency of 5 kHz, ensuring a wide and balanced sound spectrum.

The L42ms also features a selectable sound field expander and bass contour adjustment, allowing users to customize the audio output according to their preferences and room acoustics. Moreover, it supports high-resolution audio playback up to 24-bit/96 kHz, ensuring listeners enjoy their music in the highest possible fidelity.

Connectivity

This music system offers a wide range of connectivity options to accommodate any setup. It includes HDMI-ARC for TV audio, RCA and 3.5 mm analog stereo inputs, and a USB-A media input for direct playback from storage devices.
