Diamond-Coated Aluminum Dome Tweeter

SVS introduces an all-new diamond-coated aluminum dome tweeter in the Ultra Evolution series. A layer of diamond carbon is deposited on the surface of the aluminum dome, enhancing stiffness and critical acoustic properties. This breakthrough pushes frequency response well beyond the limits of human hearing, resulting in airy and unveiled highs with no measurable distortion. It also extends the tweeter’s low-frequency reach for seamless blending with the midrange driver.

Organic Cell Structure Tweeter Diffuser

The Ultra Evolution Center features an organic cell structure tweeter diffuser, meticulously engineered for optimal acoustic performance. SVS engineers prototyped dozens of grille patterns and, through FEA analysis, chose a semi-random pattern derived from organic cellular structures for its optimized off-axis frequency response and sound dispersion.

Drivers

The Ultra Evolution Center employs an 11.4 cm midrange driver housed in a dedicated acoustic suspension enclosure, ensuring impeccable midrange output and seamless blending with the tweeter. Two 16.5 cm woofers deliver deep, accurate bass for the most demanding center channel content. The drivers feature glass fiber composite cones chosen for their excellent stiffness-to-mass ratio, contributing to dynamic and precise sound reproduction.
