Design and Construction

One of the most striking features of the Ultra Evolution Pinnacle is its acoustically centered alignment speaker architecture. The front baffle features a gentle curve that aligns the sound emanation point of the tweeter and each driver on a vertical plane. This innovative design ensures perfect phase coherence, resulting in a more immersive and precise soundstage with pinpoint imaging.

Diamond Dome Tweeter

The Ultra Evolution Pinnacle utilizes a state-of-the-art 25mm diamond-coated aluminum dome tweeter. Through advanced vapor deposition technology, a layer of diamond carbon is deposited onto the surface of the aluminum dome. This enhances the tweeter’s rigidity and optimizes its acoustic properties. The result is exceptionally clear, detailed, and extended high-frequency reproduction with virtually no distortion.

Dual 5.25-inch Midrange Drivers

To ensure flawless midrange performance, the Ultra Evolution Pinnacle features two 5.25-inch glass fiber composite midrange drivers. These drivers are housed in separate, acoustically tuned chambers within the speaker enclosure. This design choice enhances driver separation and eliminates cabinet coloration, allowing the midrange to shine through with unmatched clarity and detail.

Quad 8-inch Woofers

The bass performance of the Ultra Evolution Pinnacle is truly impressive, thanks to its quad 8-inch woofer configuration. These high-excursion drivers are arranged in a force-canceling opposed array, with two woofers facing forward and two facing rearward. This innovative design effectively cancels cabinet vibrations while delivering deep, powerful, and articulate bass that remains controlled and precise at all volume levels.

Precision Crossover Network

To ensure seamless integration of the drivers, SVS has implemented a sophisticated 3-way crossover network in the Ultra Evolution Pinnacle. The crossover utilizes premium-grade capacitors, inductors, and resistors, all mounted on a robust printed circuit board.
