The PSU-5 is specially designed to provide a very high-quality power supply to Gold Note’s PH-5 phono preamplifier. It draws inspiration from the brand’s high-end separate power supplies like the PSU-10 and PSU-1000.

Its architecture is based on a linear power supply with custom-made transformers manufactured in Italy. This allows for delivering a stable and constant power supply, free from noise and interference from the mains. An inductive filter is integrated to effectively block disturbances.

Dual Transformer Circuit

The PSU-5 uses a 2-transformer circuit for the linear power supply stage. This provides the best operating conditions for the PH-5 by supplying it with an abundant and ultra-clean power supply.

Mains noise is eliminated thanks to the double-coil inductive filter that completely isolates the PH-5. This generous and noise-free power supply allows for increased dynamics, more detail, and optimal realism of the sound stage.

Ultra-Low Noise Voltage Regulators

To minimize noise and interference, the PSU-5 incorporates three ultra-low noise voltage regulators. These regulators maintain a maximum variation of the output voltage of only 0.05%, ensuring a clean and stable power supply to the connected audio components.
