The H1’s chassis is made of rigid polyurethane foam laminated to a solid laminate. This combination of materials makes the turntable extremely lightweight, weighing only 600 grams, while ensuring excellent rigidity. The H-shape and composition of the chassis minimize the transmission of vibrations and resonances to the tonearm, ensuring stable and accurate tracking of the record groove.

A “Solid Surface” Platter for Consistent Rotation

The Luphonic H1’s platter, weighing 1.2 kg, is made of “solid surface,” a material composed of aluminum hydroxide and acrylic. Precision-machined on CNC machines, this platter offers very low resonance and high density, ideal for a turntable. Its white or black finish adds a touch of elegance to the overall design.

A Silent Synchronous Motor and Belt Drive

The H1 is equipped with a high-precision synchronous motor, controlled by a microprocessor (MCU) for optimal speed regulation. The special motor suspension and electronic control system, individually adapted to each motor, prevent potential malfunctions. The belt drive ensures smooth and silent platter rotation.

An Innovative Carbon Fiber Tonearm

The Luphonic H1’s tonearm, the K2 model, is a true technical feat. Made of a carbon fiber tube with a gimbal suspension, it uses high-precision miniature ball bearings. The polyamide headshell is filled with tiny glass beads to improve rigidity and absorb unwanted vibrations. This 9.5-inch tonearm offers precise adjustments and compatibility with a wide range of cartridges.
