Van den Hul The SUB Hybrid Subwoofer Cable
The Van den Hul The SUB Hybrid cable is specially designed to connect an active subwoofer to a home theater or hi-fi amplifier. With a length of 2 meters, it stands out for its great flexibility and careful finishing.
This high-end cable combines several advanced technologies developed by Van den Hul to offer optimal audio performance:
-
Multi-strand central conductors made of FUSION amorphous copper alloy guarantee excellent musical transparency, high resolution, and a precise sound image, without distortion.
-
High-quality, low-loss dielectrics allow for low capacitance and extended musical dynamics, with perfect respect for timbres and rhythm.
-
Several dense layers of shielding provide highly effective protection against noise and interference, for a perfectly clean audio signal even over long lengths.
-
Silver-plated OFC copper conductor strands and a robust outer Hulliflex jacket offer great longevity to the cable by protecting it from external aggressions.
Sound Performance
In terms of sound, the Van den Hul The SUB Hybrid cable stands out for its ability to transmit low-frequency signals accurately and dynamically, without degradation or coloration, even over lengths that can reach 5 meters or more.
The FUSION amorphous material used for the conductors promotes great harmonic transparency and very fine resolution of micro-details, without inertia or veil. The attack transients of low notes are reproduced with speed and precision.
The quality insulation and multi-layer shielding make it possible to obtain an ample and deep bass, perfectly defined and detached from the background noise. The infra-bass is reproduced with visceral impact and total clarity, without overhang or parasitic resonance.
The spatialization of low-frequency sound sources also benefits from the high resolution of this cable. Each element (bass drum, bass, effects, etc.) is stably localized with excellent focus, allowing you to appreciate its exact place in the sound space.
Finally, the dynamics and responsiveness of the bass conferred by the SUB Hybrid prove to be particularly beneficial in the case of rhythmic and percussive music (rock, electro, jazz, world music, etc.) as well as for film soundtracks rich in LFE effects. Power rises and impacts are rendered with remarkable energy, totally controlled, providing strong sensations.
