FM/DAB+ Radio and Web Radios

Equipped with an FM RDS and DAB+ tuner, the CR-ST700SCD can receive terrestrial radio stations in digital quality, without interference or static. Thanks to its WiFi connectivity, it also provides access to web radios from around the world via an Internet connection.

Navigating between different stations is made easy by the 7.1 cm (2.8 inches) TFT color screen that displays information about the current station. Up to 40 presets can be saved for quick access to your favorite radios.

For physical media enthusiasts, the CR-ST700SCD is equipped with a CD player compatible with audio CDs, CD-R, and CD-RW formats. It is also possible to play MP3 files burned onto CDs.

A USB port is also available to connect a USB flash drive or hard drive and access your digital music library. MP3 and WMA files are supported, with bit rates from 32 to 320 kbps.

Bluetooth Streaming

Thanks to Bluetooth 4.2, you can wirelessly stream music stored on your smartphone, tablet, or computer. The CR-ST700SCD functions as a Bluetooth speaker, with a range of about 10 meters (depending on the environment). The A2DP and AVRCP audio codecs are supported for optimal sound quality and remote playback control.

Powerful and Balanced Sound

To faithfully reproduce all these audio sources, the CR-ST700SCD relies on an integrated 2.1 speaker system delivering 43 W RMS power. Two stereo speakers ensure precise reproduction of mid and high frequencies, while a downfiring subwoofer handles the lowest frequencies. The result is a rich and balanced sound, with a strong bass presence.

A 9-preset equalizer allows you to optimize the sound based on the type of listening (jazz, rock, classical, etc.). You can also finely adjust the bass and treble according to your preferences via the “My EQ” mode.
